Daggerpaw looked up to his mentor, shocked by the reaction. The large tom had actually helped him recatch his balance and had complimented him even when he failed. The apprentice wasn't used to kindness and he felt a nervous tint take flight in his gut. He was used to violent punishment....not encouragement. "Uh, er, okay..." he mewed in a pitiful way. He took a slight run before leaping in the air and doing the move once more. This time when he landed, he did as Draco had instructed. He landed perfectly on his paws. Pride welled through him, but the nervous twinge was still there. This was the quickest he had ever learned a move. Can kindness really be a better teacher then claw? Daggerpaw had always planned to train his apprentice when he got older as his parents had taught him in the earlier days. Perfect it immedietly, or pain will come.

Draco examined Daggerpaw down to the last bit of fur. He looked proud... but... scared. He obviously wasn't expecting Draco's help. "Very good!" Draco called padding up to his apprentice. "Now try this-" Draco's voice cut out in a huff as he lunged at a tree, his paws smashed into the bark, shoving of of the large oak Draco's body went flying, paws out, claw's extended. If there was an opponent in his way there neck would have been ripped out before they could move. Slamming to the ground on his shoulder's Draco rolled leaping to his paws. "Now" he panted, looking at Daggerpaw, his duel colored eyes narrowed slightly. "This is a very advanced move, I don't expect you to perfect it the first try." he mewed.
